I was in a meeting where the presenter continued to use several words out of the normal definition that the words were known for, many people were getting upset. Redefining the definitions of the word usage helped to stop confusion and made the meeting easier to follow.

I would collect data on employers in my region. I would discern through data analyses what employee shortages are most pressing and what skills and/or credentials the employers value when screening/hiring applicants. I would also collect data from service providers to analyze the scope of the job seekers, skills and career objectives to see how many could be potential matches to fill job openings either immediately or after additional training/credentialing.
