I had a communication problem where I was being yelled at and with a deep breath and a low calm voice, I asked them to please stop yelling and to speak to me with the same voice tone as I am speaking to them. Anger on top of anger does not defuse the problem. We were able to walk away and come back together to have a conversation and settle our differences and understand each other's opinion.
