Biggest successes has been when individuals have a general idea of what they want and then work from there to assist in creating a plan of action to help them accomplish their goal and see them complete it and move on. The leader I am always drawn to is one from a previous employer. Her style of persuasion was one that not only was delivered by motivating the stakeholders but inspired them to see the vision she had and also to share success stories. Describe the work that would be done as if it had already been done and see the success behind it. She knew how to demonstrate how something could be created with nothing and how if gifted the funds how much more could be and would be done.
